According to en:Pamir (ship) Pamir returned from the last voyage to Australia 1949. Did she sail with other cargo the next year? de:Pamir (Schiff) says she was used as depot ship in Wales and sold to shipbreakers in December 1950 (and later saved by the German). Here she does not look like sailing with ballast and I have a hard time seeing how the image would fit in in September that year. --LPfi (talk) 20:39, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- „1950“ was from the picture-source nla.pic-vn3257373. In 2 October 1949 the Pamir (with Finish flag) was run with a cargo wheat to Falmouth. I think, the potograph is from this voyage. Botaurus (talk) 20:51, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
